CloudHub: Everything to Know About Clouds!!!!!

About

Lenticular clouds are lens-shaped clouds that form at high altitudes, typically between 6,500 and 20,000 feet (2,000 to 6,000 meters). They are usually stationary and form when moist air flows over a mountain or other geographical obstacle, creating a disturbance in the airflow. As the air rises over the peak, it cools and condenses into a cloud, forming the characteristic smooth, lens-like shape. Lenticular clouds are often mistaken for UFOs due to their saucer-like appearance, and they can appear in a series or as solitary clouds. These clouds are generally composed of water droplets or ice crystals, depending on the temperature at their altitude.
